Home Depot Black Friday 2021 – What to Expect

Updated November 12th, 2021

Home Depot has confirmed its Black Friday dates and also released its Black Friday 2021 ad. These offers are already available on the retailer’s website, so you can seize them from November 3rd through December 1st. However, some of the offers highlighted in this catalog are valid only while supplies last, so make sure to act fast.

The retailer also released the Home Depot Holiday 2021 Ad with deals on a variety of items, such as Christmas trees, home furniture, and decor accents.

If your plans include home improvements or your wishlist features some of the products available at Home Depot, it is worth waiting for this year’s Black Friday event at this retailer. This sale typically brings the greatest discounts you will find at Home Depot, and price cuts apply to various products so that everybody can find something of interest. So, if you’re curious about what 2021 has in store when it comes to Home Depot Black Friday, here is what we expect to happen.

Home Depot Black Friday 2021 – Expected Start and End Dates

Before 2020, Home Depot used to roll out its Black Friday deals online on Thanksgiving day. The in-store sale would usually begin at 6:00 AM on the actual Black Friday. Last year, things were different, though, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The retailer ran a month-long sale, and since the pandemic is still here, Home Depot may embrace the same approach in 2021. If that’s the case, then we expect the following to happen:

Confirmed early Black Friday deals, start date: Starting Monday, November 1st, 2021 (online).

Estimated Black Friday sale start date: Sunday, November 7th, 2021

Estimated Black Friday sale end date: Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, or while supplies last.

This is just our prediction regarding the start and end dates of the Home Depot Black Friday 2021 event, but stay tuned as we will update this page when official details are available. Here is the first page of last year’s ad.

What Deals to Expect

If there is a specific category of products you’re on the lookout for, taking a look at the store’s Black Friday 2020 ad might help as you can thus get an idea of what may be on sale this year as well. Here is what we expect to see at reduced prices:

  • Major appliances – whether you need a new washer, refrigerator, or oven, it is worth keeping an eye on this year’s Black Friday deals at Home Depot as such items were discounted last year. For example, select appliances were discounted by up to 40%.
  • Power and hand tools – since Home Depot is about helping you improve your place and thus carry out various related projects successfully, it is safe to assume that they will cut prices on tools. Brands such as Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, and Ryobi are usually included in the sale. As far as regular hand tools are concerned, the 2020 sale featured a 70-piece impact driving bit set for just $12.97, a 4-piece titanium screw extractor set for $9.97, and a 155-piece rotary set for $12.88.
  • Holiday decorations – since the sale event is not far away from Christmas, discounts on holiday decor are only natural. The Black Friday ad typically includes special prices and discounts on Christmas trees and various decorations. For example, in 2020, customers had the chance to get 7.5-foot pre-lit LED Christmas trees with 8-function remote control for under $80 and 100+ light Christmas tree lights for as low as $2.98/set.

These are only a few product categories that typically go on sale, but other items are likely to be included. Stay tuned as we will update this page when information on this year’s Black Friday deals are available.
