As one of the largest retailers in the U.S., Target offers a wide variety of products and some of the greatest Black Friday discounts. We’re still a few weeks away from this year’s big sale event, but we can already save at Target. Here is what we know about Target’s Black Friday 2022 event so far and what we expect to see in the following weeks.
Target Black Friday 2022 – Confirmed Start and End Dates
This year’s Black Friday is still a few weeks away. However, that doesn’t mean you have to wait until the end of November to get a good deal on your must-haves. While the traditional kickoff to the holiday shopping season usually takes place on the actual Black Friday, which this year is November 25th, several retailers have already cut prices on popular items, and Target is one of them.
Target has confirmed that this year’s main Black Friday deals will begin on October 30th and that it will run deals each week for four weeks straight, until Saturday, November 26th. New offers are added weekly, to be precise, every Sunday, and they are available both online and in-store. However, make sure to check the offers carefully as some of them are valid online only.

The retailer’s Deal of the Day is also available through the end of December. These daily deals bring major discounts on hundreds of items, including Black Friday pricing for a wide variety of products from top brands. The offers included in this category are valid only while supplies last.
Deals will thus be renewed weekly, lasting for a limited time. There is no official information regarding the retailer’s Doorbuster Ad at this moment, but if Target embraces the same approach, we expect to see it drop on Thanksgiving day itself. Target will be closed on Thanksgiving day and its stores will reopen at 7:00 AM on Friday.

The retailer’s current Black Friday deals include discounts of up to 50% or up to a few hundred dollars on products from several categories. While the main Target Black Friday 2022 Ad is likely to be published on November 24th or even earlier, the offers available until then can be easily accessed on the retailer’s homepage.

The offers listed above are part of the first week of Black Friday 2022 deals, and we expect to see similar discounts in the following weeks. Prices are likely to drop on electronics, appliances, toys, home products, games, and daily essentials, to name a few. Savings of up to 50% will probably be valid weekly throughout November 27th.

In 2021, Target ran four Black Friday sales, starting on October 31st and lasting through November 27th. The main Target Black Friday 2021 ad was released on November 15th.
